GoT stars Kit Harington, Rose Leslie 'engaged'

So it's official! The interpreter of Jon Snow in the series Game of Thrones, Kit Harington, and Rose Leslie are engaged!

Apart from the beautiful backdrop, the fact that the person you love in real life is your on-screen love interest makes falling in love even easier.

But other fans - mostly female - are heartbroken that Harington, with his raven tresses, is officially off the market.

The engagement was announced in the Forthcoming Nuptials section of The Times newspaper. It's not uncommon for co-stars to wind up dating one another, though it becomes more unusual when the relationship actually seems to work.

Harington is set to star in the eighth, final season of Game of Thrones which will likely air in late 2018 or early 2019.

Kit and Rose, both 30, took their relationship to the next level earlier this year when they started living together.

In an appearance on Late night with James Corden in June, Kit talked about moving in and living with Rose, whom he called his best friend. That night we learned that Kylie Jenner's sister, Khloe Kardashian, was pregnant with Tristan Thompson.

Adding, "I said to her - because she moved into my house - I said, 'Look, darling, it's important that this is our space, that it feels like our space and that you haven't just moved into mine". It's been just a few months since Kidman put very strange public pressure for Harington to propose to Leslie. "I think it's kind of nice if you're going to live together maybe to at least get engaged. I mean, it's step by step, step by step", he said. It's also been reported that the two purchased a seven-bedroom country home that sits on eight acres and boasts a medieval-inspired moat.
